Badgers looking for SS help

Andrew Baggarly, owner of the Badgers, sent a league-wide e-mail stating his desire to trade for a shortstop.

He's offering his No. 6 pick in the upcoming free-agent draft as well as Jerry Hairston, Jr., the Badgers' backup at that position.

He also took time to publicly humilate his starting catcher, Geovany Soto, going so far as to say he wanted someone, anyone to "kick his ass." Soto is batting .111 (.273 OBP) with just five hits and two RBI in his first 15 games.
